Our aim is that all costs are presented to you in a clear, transparent manner at every stage. You should always know what is included in a quoted cost and what is not. If you are in any doubt please ask for clarification.
We have listed below the costs for some of our most popular trades:
Handyman
- From £30 / hr or £200 / day
- Minimum charge of 1 hr
- VAT may apply to some handymen. Please ask if you would like your handyman to come VAT Free.
Plumbing
- From £60 / hr or £350 / day plus VAT
- Minimum charge of 1 hour
- Most larger jobs carried out on a quoted basis
Electrical
- From £35 / hr
- Minimum charge of 1 hour
- Please note that urgent / emergency jobs may be more expensive
- Larger jobs would be carried out on a quoted for basis
Painting & Decorating
- Most jobs carried out for quoted prices
- From £25 / hr or £180 / day
Plastering
- Larger jobs carried out for quoted prices
- From £30 / hr or £200 / day
Joinery
- From £30 / hr or £200 / day
- Minimum charge of 1 hr
Telephone Engineer
- £72 + VAT / hr for first hour. £30 + VAT / hour for each suqsequent hour.
- £260 + VAT / day
- Larger jobs will be quoted for
Additional Charges may include
- Materials are not included in the above costs
- Delivery and collection charges for materials usually around £20 - £30 for smaller jobs
- Parking charged at cost
- Waste disposal: allow for trades professionals time and council tipping fee charge
- Travel time for work out side Edinburgh
